Ugh…
When the numbers for February’s existing home sales came out – there were a lot of people that began to panic – namely realtors and insurance agents.
How low were they?
The National Association of Realtors reported that home resales dropped a little over 7%, bringing the annual rate to 5.08 million units, the lowest level since November 2015.
But if we really take a good look at the past few years – there’s been so much volatility in the housing market – this dip may not be anything to get our shorts in a twist about.
The problem is… the rest of the investing world is so instantly reactive that this “bad” news wreaked a little havoc in early trading the day the numbers were released…
But the indices rebounded fine after lunch.
And that may be the worst thing about being an investor in the modern age –how information transfer is quite literally instantaneous. Unlike 30 years ago when bad news trickled out at a snail’s pace, today, it’s coming so fast that the only thing people know how to do is panic and try to cover any potential losses that can occur.
It’s like Wall Street is populated by a flock of Chicken Littles – running around the yard screaming about the sky falling down.
I say: let them.
While the mainstream investing world is falling prey to anxiety, the smart investor looks at these housing numbers at a different angle – which is the fact that these dips can be tremendous profit opportunities for those with the right vision.
Do you realize how much wealth has been created since the housing bubble last popped in 2008?
Just the United States alone has added over a MILLION new Millionaires since “The Crash”…
Since 2004 – China has created Billionaires at an almost exponential rate…
So for those looking at the housing numbers like the proverbial dropping acorn – please, continue to freak out! Sell everything you have! Put your money in your mattress!
Leave the profiting up to the rest of us.
But I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know, especially as a former member of GorillaTrades. You know how much money we’ve been given a chance to make.
We’d love to have you back – but even if you choose to continue on your own – I can sleep well knowing that I’ve helped you understand that, no matter what, there’ll always be a place profit.
We’ll be here if you ever change your mind…
