Remember when Forrest Gump uttered that phrase while sitting on a park bench?
“My mamma always said: life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.”
As true as that statement really is…
Investing in stocks is just like life in that regard – you really don’t know what you’re going to get.
However, there are some sweet ways to make money in the market – and this company sure looks to be one of them.
There’s a reason this Forrest Gump quote came to mind – and it has a lot to do with chocolate.
What do you know about chocolate?
You might know a little bit about its history – like how it comes from the cocoa leaf or that it’s been used as a dessert for about 5,000 years…
But you may not have known how lucrative it can be.
Candy itself is BIG business…
Its global worth is more than a quarter TRILLION dollars a year. That’s a lot of candy bars…
As big is it is – we’ve just passed one of the biggest candy-buying seasons of the year – the Easter holiday.
Candy is synonymous with three holidays – Halloween, Christmas, and Easter – and while as much, if not more candy is sold during the other holiday seasons as well…
There’s just something about Easter that screams chocolate.
Chocolate bunnies, chocolate eggs, and even chocolate lambs litter the landscape during the spring – all in hopes of getting bought and being eaten by some happy little child…
In fact, did you know that each American adult who celebrates Easter spends about $151 on the holiday?
$151 per adult – and when you take into consideration that at least half the households in America house two or more adults – that’s a lot of cheddar…
Especially when you consider that a large portion of that $151 is spent on candy and chocolate.
Candy stocks have done something amazing…
They’ve been growing earnings faster than many of the big boys – and even more –faster than the overall market!
Which brings us to one of the staples – Current GorillaPick, The Hershey Company (HSY).
You’d be hard pressed to find an American that hasn’t heard of Hershey – the town they’re based in is literally named after it…
Hershey’s is one of the biggest chocolate manufacturers on the planet and even has its own theme park.
And when it comes to a stock prospect – Hershey’s has been KILLING it – with earnings growth of more than 10% on average over the past decade.
For comparison – that’s basically DOUBLE what the S&P 500 did over that same time period.
Even more, over those same 10 years, Hershey’s has been paying its shareholders a very healthy dividend…
Coming in at a yield of 2.6% – that’s a nice plus.
And that dividend yield could be even bigger, seeing as if the share price stays the same (which, looking at the chart, it probably won’t, as it looks likely to keep moving up) that 2.6% yield could jump up to 2.9% pretty quickly, according to some of Wall Streets’ top analysts.
They are also expecting Hershey’s earnings per share to increase to $5.63!
These two developments coupled together could lead to bigger and better dividend income for shareholders going forward…
Making now a GREAT time to get in!
HSY was initially released to GorillaTrades subscribers in late-December of last year, but the stock has been steadily climbing, and as of this writing, it is within just a couple of cents of achieving its first profit target.
But even though you weren’t around when the recommendation was initially made, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s too late for you to get in…
It just makes the entire process knowing when to take profits and when to get out of the trade MUCH easier.
Being a GorillaTrades subscriber, that is…
We’d love for you to consider becoming a subscriber – we can do a lot to help you make more money in the market…
You really don’t have to do much besides sit back and figure out if you’re going to consider our latest recommendation or not.
But please keep in mind, when GorillaTrades moves – we move fast…
So, we hope you’ll give us a chance.
If not, we understand, but do yourself a favor and check out Hershey’s – it could be one of the sweetest stocks you ever buy…
Pun DEFINITELY intended.
